- Mélodie Bonnat Develop a conservation concept for historic wall paintings in Katsu Temple in Yushu and organize the conservation on site. This Temple and its paintings have been badly damaged by the 2010 earthquake in the province of Qinghai. Trip of 3 months in China.
- Florence Gorel Study of technics and alterations of Korean paintings of the end of
the Chosõn period (18th-
19th centuries). Creation of new cleaning methods adapted to their problématic. Trip to Florence. - Géraldine Fray Recovery and restoration of the painting of the Ambassador -
VIIth century - Trip of 3 months in Samarkand (Ouzbekistan).Museum of Afrasiab, Samarkand (Ouzbekistan).

- Any student of the École Polytechnique, the Université de Bourgogne (scientific domains only) or the Institut National du Patrimoine who would like to apply for a fellowship in order to pursue advanced studies in a foreign country.
- Any person wishing to support the Foundation either in the form of donations or ideas.
- Any person wanting to learn more about the Carnot family history.
Submission of fellowship applications by candidates:
- Ecole Polytechnique, eligible candidates must submit their applications to the Fondation de l’X. Do not send any applications directly to the Fondation Carnot.
- Université de Bourgogne, applications are due each year before the 1st of September.
